Zymurgy names best US beers
Zymurgy, the magazine of the American Homebrewers Association, released its annual list of the best beers in America this morning. The list, based on a survey of the magazine's readers, puts Pliny the Elder, a double IPA brewed in California, at the top of the chart. (No surprise there; Pliny ranks near the top of many "best beer" lists.) In fact, IPAs dominate the Zymurgy list. New England, however, does not. Only two beers from our neck of the woods make the cut -- Sam Adams Noble Pils, which ties for No. 20, and Sam Adams Boston Lager, tying for No. 26. You can see the whole list right here. Better yet, give me your opinion. What are your favorite US-made beers? Post your choices below in the comments section.
