Wonder where "Mad Men" costume designer finds inspiration for the characters' snazzy looks? Bryant chatted with Boston.com readers to share her vintage scouring secrets on March 22.
Don, Pete, and Ken's dinner party attire
When Pete Campbell opened his home to Don, Megan, and, randomly, the Cosgroves, we knew the night would be brimming with suburban schmooze and snoot in "Signal 30" (episode 5.05). What we didn't expect was the three men to show up looking like used car salesmen. Alas, if Ginsberg taught us anything — these are the times they live in.
By the way, if Don's hasty repair to a leaky faucet-turned-geyser didn't totally kill Pete's masculinity, we're sure that sorbet-striped tie was the final nail on the coffin.
