Calendar_file.pngSo much to do, so little time -- and so many event listings and Facebook invites to comb through! Lucky for you, we here at TNGG Boston can also fill in as your social planners. Each week, we’ll feature a few weekend events we think you should check out.* If you know of an upcoming event that might appeal to our audience, email boston@tngg.co with the details.

*Note: TNGG is not receiving compensation of any kind to promote these events. We just think they sound like fun!

Thursday, April 5: GLOW Boston presents THE BLACK LIGHT PARTY. GLOW Boston is taking their name quite literally with this week’s party, “covering the room with black lights and making everything GLOW!” Guest DJs Aleka and Roman Perry will spin sets, and TaraFaeri will be on hand to provide UV bodypaint for the willing. When and Where: 9 p.m. @ THINK TANK (24 Hampshire St., Kendall Square).

Friday, April 6: “Cheers for Children!” A Boredom Busters Fundraiser by Social ^2. Boredom Busters is a nonprofit “dedicated to eradicating the ‘boredom epidemic’ affecting pediatric patients at the Boston Medical Center.” Sound like a worthy cause? Social ^2, “a newly established fundraising organization in Boston that believes in the power of fun social events to have a positive social impact," certainly thinks so. If you do, too, head to their fundraiser on Friday night! When and Where: 10 p.m. @ Back Bay Social Club (867 Boylston St., Back Bay).

Saturday, April 7: Super Hero Crawl with Crawl in Boston. It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s you, your friends, and plenty of friends you haven’t met yet, dressed as your favorite superheroes or villains, on a bar crawl around Faneuil Hall! Your $5 crawler fee gets you free cover and drink specials at all of the participating bars; proceeds from the event will go to support Cradles to Crayons. When and Where: Crawl begins at 1 p.m. @ The Point (147 Hanover St., Faneuil Hall).

Saturday, April 7: International Pillow Fight Day. A chance to (gently) pummel strangers with fluffy things as part of a giant pillow fight somewhere in Boston? Say no more -- we’re there! There are only four rules, as per organizers Banditos Misteriosos: Be inconspicuous before the fight starts; “avoid hitting people in the face, people with cameras, or Mayor Menino;” don’t bring a feather pillow; and (obviously) have fun! When and Where: Arrive at location (TBA on Friday, April 6, at 11:55 p.m.) by 2:55 p.m. Fight begins at 3 p.m.
