It's safe to say that no one helped shape Gen Y's technological landscape more than Steve Jobs, who passed away today at the age of 56. From our youngest days, the iconic Apple logo has been part of our lives: We played Oregon Trail on a black-and-green-screened Macintosh II. We learned to type on the ultra-colorful iMac. Today, we carry our entire lives in our pockets and bags with iPods, iPhones, and MacBooks.
In perhaps one of the most bittersweet reminders of how much of an impact a man most of us never met had on our lives, #iSad quickly became a trending topic on Twitter after the announcement of Jobs' death.
Below the jump, watch (and take to heart) one of Jobs' most famous speeches, from Stanford University's 2005 Commencement, and share your first and favorite Apple product memories in the comments.
