Tons of awesome events come across our desks each week. Make It Boston is how we'll share our favorite ways to get out, get crafty, and make things in and around Boston.

Not into stampeding the local mall for the latest "it" toy or hot electronic? Yeah, neither are we. Here's what's happening in the Hub in the next week that doesn't require camping out in the wee hours, plus shows support for local businesses and makers:

Downtown Crossing

It's beginning to look a lot like the holidays: the craft market in Downtown Crossing opens for its 5th year this Saturday. Check out rotating jewelry makers, potters, crafters, food vendors, and more as they set up shop next to Macy's.
