Martha Stewart

The queen of DIY is bringing together the best in the biz to teach us makers a thing or two. Martha Stewart's second annual American Made event is happening October 16th in New York, and the schedule has been announced. Check out the celebrity and expert speakers and panelists, then book your Bolt Bus — maybe we'll see you there!

Creative Makers Series ticketholders won't have to wait in line for a Cronut, because Dominique Ansel and some of Martha's favorite chefs will be preparing breakfast. Exclusive sessions on topics such as what it takes to become a creative leader and philanthropic entrepreneur and build a successful brand will be lead by Jessica Alba, Bobbi Brown, Neil Blumenthal, and Karen Mills. Guests will also have the opportunity to meet, network and learn from "Martha Stewart Living" editors.

Also on tap, you can sign up for a series of cooking and mixology classes, where Martha and chefs will teach you how basic techniques, how to whip up easy everyday meals, and how to update the classic cocktail.

American Made has a contest component, where a few lucky companies will win recognition from Martha Stewart Living and an Audience Choice prize of $10,000. Local names looking for your vote include Eat Boutique, Bully Boy Distillers, Cuppow, and Ball & Buck.

Even if you don't scoop up tickets to any of the panels or classes, swing by Grand Central's Vanderbilt Hall for the free American Made Market, running October 16 and 17. Handpicked makers will be there offering live demonstrations, hands-on crafting, and celebrity book signings.

American Made is October 16th at Andaz Fifth Avenue, New York City. Visit Martha Stewart for tickets and more information.
