BostonWorks Terms and Conditions

BostonWorks, The Boston Globe, The New York Times and all of their affiliates (hereafter referred to as BostonWorks) reserve the right to revise or reject ads that contain copy that is misleading, inaccurate, fraudulent, or discriminatory; that makes unfair competitive claims; that fails to comply with its standards of decency or dignity; that does not follow applicable laws dealing with matters including, but not limited to, liable, copyright & trademark, the right to privacy or anti-discrimination; or that BostonWorks otherwise deems unsuitable.

BostonWorks reserves the right to revise its rates in writing and/or via web site posting, effective no less than five days after distribution and/or posting.

Unless otherwise noted herein or elsewhere, all rates for ads placed through BostonWorks or BostonWorks.com are commissionable at 15% to recognized advertising agencies.

Forwarding of a written insertion order constitutes the acceptance of all rates and conditions that exist when the advertising is sold and subsequent rate cards. In the event of a conflict between the insertion order and the rate card or contract, the rate card or contract (if applicable) shall govern. No disclaimers or statement of conditions on insertion orders other than those contained herein will be deemed binding upon BostonWorks.

The advertising agency and the advertiser shall be liable, jointly and severally, for payment prior to publication deadline of advertising space purchased unless credit approval has been established. Where credit has been approved, payment is due 30 days after the invoice date. Any billing dispute must be reported within 30 days of the original notice. Failure to pay an invoice within 30 days, even a disputed invoice, may result in suspending of credit and/or turning over to a collection agency.

Unless credit has been granted online products must be paid for prior to going live. Where credit has been granted online products will be invoiced completely at the time the contract is signed unless otherwise noted in the rate card.
