About the Editor
Joseph Saling is an award-winning editor and writer who specializes in health communication. He has authored numerous articles, brochures, and booklets for healthcare consumers and providers and was senior editor of Well Advised for People Over 50, a guide to self care. Saling has worked as an editor and writer in the pharmaceutical industry and was a college teacher of writing and communications for more than 20 years. He has been the editor of On Call since it was first published in 1998. Saling is the author of A Matter of Mind, a book of poetry published by Foothills Press in 2004.
