A week and a day from now, we’ll be watching The Grommet’s 2014 Product Pitch at Fenway Park live streamed on!

I hope you’ve been checking out the great eight -- four finalists from Ready for Crowdfunding and four finalists from Ready for Market. They were voted by YOU, the community. And now, you get to see them pitch their best foot forward to prove their product has what it takes to hit it out of the park and beyond!

For a rundown on the finalists, here’s a cheat sheet to help you keep score on Game Day, March 20th.

Bringrr and BringTags -- Bringrr is a reminder device (and car charger) that pairs with your smartphone and notifies you if you’ve left it behind as you start the car. For other important items such as your wallet, keys, laptop, or even cat, tag them with small and colorful Bringtags, which can track their location and check if they’re on you.

Decz -- Decz are customizable rain boots for those who are looking for a tad more versatility when matching rain boots with outfits. Instead of settling for one pattern or buying multiple rain boots, the double layer and waterproof insert design of a pair of Decz rain boots allow for wearing an array of patterns for any day of the week.

Tray Bien -- Tray Bien is laptop bag 2.0 for travelers. Not only does it hold your laptop, it’s also a caddy organizer that consolidates all your electronics, which then can be affixed to your tray table and act as a workstation without leaving you in a tangled fumble (especially if your seatmate needs to go to the bathroom).

o rings.jpg

O-Rings -- To do away with the stigma of how special needs toys are different, O-Rings encourage full-body sensory play for children of all abilities, whether it is with siblings or peers. Each ring is a different size, density, texture, color, weight, and material. They can help foster developmental skills for children during games or therapy.

Litter One -- Litter One is a 100% biodegradable, completely self-contained, disposable litter system for cats. The box contains everything you need -- special pine pellet litter, scoop, and waste bags -- and turns into a litter box through its clever design. At the end of 4 to 6 weeks, simply close up the kit and place it in the recycle or trash bin.

Juneberry Bags -- A Juneberry bag is versatile handbag that you can change to suit your outfit or mood through cover options and bag styles. You can swap its cover for another design or convert it into a backpack or messenger bag. Merely unzip one cover to zip on another or unhook its straps to hook on different straps.

repel gear.jpg

Repel Gear ACTIVE Series Seat Cover -- The Repel Gear towel seat cover connects to the headrest of any vehicle seat and protects your car from anything you may be covered in, like mud or sweat. Machine washable and made of super absorbent microfiber, it stays in place on your car seat unlike ordinary towels.

Ecotonix Compost Shredder -- The Compost Shredder is a food scrap shredder and recycling system. Simply place your food scraps into the top and hand-operate the shredder. The pull-out container catches the scraps for you to dump into your compost.
