Debuts at the 2010 New York Auto Show
2011 Hyundai Sonata Blue HybridHyundais stand was right next to Toyota, and without looking at the badge youd swear the Sonata was the next-generation Camry.
The hybrid model tops off the aura of sophistication. Traditional hybrids rely on nickel-metal hydride batteries and gearless transmissions, but the Sonata Hybrid uses lighter lithium-polymer batteries and a conventional 6-speed automatic. Fuel economy is estimated at 37 mpg city and 39 mpg highway, with a top electric speed of 62 mph.
Pricing hasnt been announced, but Fusion Hybrid be warned.
