Apple kept the prices of its new iPad the same as the previously were -- starting at $499 for a Wi-Fi-only device. The cost of the Kindle Fire is one of its top selling points. The device sells for $199.
The Fire will also come with a 30-day trial of Amazon Prime, the companys $79-a-year membership service that includes streaming video and free two-day shipping.
