From the moment children hand over their "must-have" lists to their parents, the holiday shopping scramble is on.

But what toys may take the most effort to obtain? It can be hard to tell what may become the next "Tickle Me Elmo."

We had a look through some of the retail industry's "hottest toy" rankings - from Toys R Us to Amazon.com - as well as toy publication Time To Play Magazine's "Most Wanted" list, and came up with a list of 16 toys that have a good chance of flying off the shelves this holiday season.
