7. Plan for lines and traffic
So you know what store(s) you're heading to, and what times you're hoping to grab. But remember, a lot of other people have the same plans. Don't get caught in traffic while the doors open. Plot a few alternate routes to your destination if possible. Here's where you can make use of that GPS you bought on Black Friday last year. If you're hoping to score one of those in-demand doorbusters, get out hours earlier than everyone else. Bring warm clothes, a light, portable chair, a raincoat, and something to occupy your time with while you wait.
