New airline regulations going into effect
Disclosure of baggage fees when passengers book a flight
After waiting in a long line to drop off luggage, fliers have been hit with fees they might not know about until the counter. Now, airlines must disclose baggage fees when reservations are made.
For example, if you're flying within the continental United States but not a member with Continental Airlines, the first checked bag costs $25, and it's $35 for the second.
