SAP’s Bill McDermott is set to address BC’s Chief Executives’ Club of Boston lunch

Bill McDermott of SAP, a global software company with $23.1 billion in annual revenues and 66,000 employees, is scheduled to address Boston College’s Chief Executives’ Club of Boston lunch this Thursday.

McDermott, SAP’s co-chief executive, is expected to focus on the topic of “Disruptive Innovation” as he discusses the lessons he learned as a young entrepreneur, the rapid pace of change driven by innovation and new technologies, and the need for leading companies to embrace simplicity in order to meet the expectations of new generations of consumers and employees, the club said in a media advisory.

Joe Tucci, chairman and chief executive of data storage giant EMC Corp., will host the event, the club said.
