Bigtincan, a Waltham firm that specializes in mobile content enablement, said Friday that it has secured $5 million dollars in Series A funding in a round led by Southern Cross Venture Partners.
According to Bigtincan, its bigtincan hub is a unified set of productivity tools that is transforming the way business is done on mobile devices.
In a press release, Bigtincan said it has a roster of hundreds of enterprise customers that derive business value from its mobile content enablement platform including Hologic, Telefonica, Jones Junction and ReachLocal among many others.
Bill Bartee, managing director of Southern Cross Venture Partners, is joining Bigtincan’s board of directors.
“2013 has been a hallmark year in mobile technology, and Bigtincan’s integrated solution has established the company as the leader when it comes to driving value and business productivity on mobile devices,” Bartee said in a statement.
