In a statement, Bradford Networks chief executive Dan Haley said: ‘‘The advanced threat landscape has grown increasingly sophisticated and targeted over the past couple of years. Businesses need to know exactly what is connected to their network at all times to avoid backdoors and rapidly remove infected devices. These challenges, combined with our strategic partnerships with companies such as FireEye, Fortinet, and Palo Alto Networks have driven tremendous growth for the company, expanding our sales team will help us capitalize on this growth. ‘As we continue to innovate and evolve, moving to Boston’s Innovation District not only gives us the space to hire at the rapid pace necessary to meet our partners’ and customers’ needs, but it enables us to hire some of the most talented professionals in the world.’’

In May 2012, the company announced it had raised $3 million in Series C financing, bringing the total amount raised up to that time to $15 million.
