Vendors interested in a public food market
Four buildings have been scrapped. See what could have been.
Recently a meeting was held to discuss the establishment of a possible public market on the Rose Kennedy Greenway. Hundreds of interested vendors, including dairy farmers, fishmongers, berry growers, and winemakers from all parts of the state, showed up to discuss the possibility of the market, which would open in a 27,000 square foot area above the Haymarket T station.
