Highest, lowest median incomes in Mass.

Over the past 30 years, Sherborns median household income, adjusted for inflation, has increased more than 40 percent to nearly $190,000, while the median income in Lawrence has dropped 20.1 percent to $36,573, according to US Census statistics.
Here is a look at household median income changes over the past 30 years in the 20 towns with the highest incomes and the 20 towns with the lowest incomes, according to the US Census, University of Massachusetts Donahue Institute, and Northeastern University's Center for Labor Market Studies. All data adjusted for inflation in 2009 dollars.
