Boston's early, early TV newscasts

News stations across the country have been adding early morning newscasts as they face year-to-year drops in ratings and ad revenue in late news. General managers are looking to the early news period to replenish their viewership by appealing to the changing habits of todays worker, many of whom have longer commutes and workdays that require them to get up earlier.
