Corning completes Mediatech acquisition
CORNING, N.Y.—Specialty glass maker Corning Inc. said Thursday that it completed the acquisition of Mediatech Inc., a company that develops, makes, and sells cell culture media and reagents used in molecular biology.
The companies did not disclose terms of the deal.
Mediatech, based in Virginia, is now a Corning subsidiary. It will become part of Corning's Life Sciences business.
Shares of Corning rose 20 cents to close at $13.47.
