Gas prices up 7 cents in two weeks
CAMARILLO, Calif. — The average US price of a gallon of gasoline has jumped another 7 cents over the past two weeks.
The Lundberg Survey of fuel prices now puts the average price for regular at $3.57.
That’s 76 cents higher than the price at this time last year, analyst Trilby Lundberg said yesterday.
The national average for mid-grade is $3.71. For premium, it’s $3.82 a gallon. Diesel prices rose 10 cents a gallon over the past two weeks, to $3.98, on average.
Billings, Mont., had the nation’s lowest average price for gas at $3.27. San Francisco had the highest, at $3.97.
