As healthcare progresses, so does the cost

In trying to explain the ever-rising cost of healthcare, we often fall back on easy answers: It's medical malpractice premiums, high administrative costs, excessive use of testing. Those things matter. But what matters most is progress. Technology gets better, science finds a way to deliver that technology to more people, and our bills go up. (Full article: 688 words)
