Command the stage
To be successful on stage, it's important to connect with the audience and maintain an authoritative stage presence. Often that connection happens right away; the first few minutes on stage are critical for making a connection and establishing rapport. The same is true for interviews you've probably heard that recruiters often make decisions about candidates in the first few minutes after meeting them. Like performers, job candidates can maintain "stage presence" by keeping the conversation and energy levels up during an interview.
