Concord residents will vote Tuesday on a Proposition 2 override to raise $1.2 million for capital improvements at the Concord-Carlisle Regional High School, including the repair of a heating system, and improvements to the science lab.

There are also elections for various town posts, but no contested races. There are two candidates running for two seats on the Board of Selectmen. Virginia McIntyre is seeking re-election to the board, and Stanly Black is running for an open seat.

On the School Committee, Jan McGinnis is running for re-election, and Fabian John Foundries is running for an open seat. Edward Perry is running for re-election as moderator. Christopher Jane Corkery is running for a five-year seat on the Concord Housing Authority, and Frederick Macdonald is running for a one-year seat on the Concord Housing Authority. There is also one question on the ballot.
