Making the Hundertwasser scene

Posted by Martin Finucane March 30, 2007 05:18 PM

It's more than 3,000 miles from Bolton to Napa, Calif., but Marjorie Morgan and Whitney Robbins just had to see the Hundertwasser building.

Friedensreich Hundertwasser (say that five times fast) was an Austrian architect who hated straight lines and worked to incorporate nature into each of his designs. The Quixote Winery in Napa is the only building in the United States designed by Hundertwasser.

Robbins, a seventh-grade teacher, talks about the architect to her classes, the St. Helena Star reports.
