Game of the night

The Bentley College men's basketball team puts its 23-0 record on the line tonight (7:30 p.m.), hosting American International in a Northeast-10 Conference matchup at the Dana Center in Waltham.

Bentley, ranked second nationally in Division 2, has won 39 of its last 40 regular season games (the only blemish coming in double overtime). Coach Jay Lawson's team is 19-0 in conference play, with its NE-10 win total one shy of the record the Falcons set two years ago.

Following Amherst's loss to Trinity on Saturday, Bentley is one of only two remaining unbeaten teams in NCAA men's college basketball, a distinction it shares with top-ranked and defending Div. II national champion Winona State.

In the first meeting against AIC (14-10) on November 29, Bentley won 79-53.
