Power still out in some homes in Bolton

With temperatures dropping towards the single digits, some homes in Bolton remained without power this afternoon.

A total of eight streets in town and 31 electric customers had no service following a small blitz of power outages that began yesterday, according to Bolton police.

The outages began after wires were knocked down, presumably during the freezing rain that the area experienced last night, said a police dispatcher.

The outages were scheduled to be fixed by 7:30 p.m. tonight.
