A tale from the city

Nadia Bercovich of Ashland submitted an item to the Globe magazine's Tales of the City department today about an encounter in a drug store in Framingham.

My mom and I walked into a Walgreens in Framingham, looking for some wrist supporters I could use in gymnastics class. They were by the medications and vitamins.

Uncertain which of the supporters to buy, I decided to try them out. The aisle seemed pretty empty, so I tried a handstand/front walkover.

Suddenly, this elderly man came out of nowhere, shouting, "What kind of meds are you taking!?" That definitely made my day.
