14 and counting for Bentley men

Visiting Southern New Hampshire had no answer for the Bentley College men's basketball team on Saturday night. Just like the previous 13 Falcon foes.

Sophomore guard Lew Finnegan pumped in 20 points on 8-of-11 shooting and former Lexington High teammate Danny Lawson added 12 to power fourth-ranked Bentley to its 14th straight victory, an 84-64 Northeast-10 Conference win at the Dana Center.

Finnegan and Lawson combined to drain eight of their 11 three-point attempts for the Falcons (14-0), who sank 19 of their first 22 shots in the second half.

Senior post Jeff Holmes made five of seven shots for 12 points, giving him an .846 field goal percentage over his last three games and freshman guard Jason Westrol added nine points, six assists and five rebounds. Senior forward Andy Smith just missed a double-double, finishing with nine points and nine rebounds off the bench.
