Mount Ida obscure?

Gregg Easterbrook, a columnist at has picked Mount Ida's 46-20 loss to "Worchester Polytechnic Institute" (Easterbrook's spelling) as one of his "Obscure College Scores" this past week.

Easterbrook takes an additional dig at Mount Ida, noting that one of the Top 10 reasons to attend the Newton school listed on its website is "the college is easily accessible from major highways."

Mike Raposa, the school's sports information director, says he guesses that any publicity is good publicity. The Division 3 school is 4-4, led by senior 4,000-yard rusher Antwan Harris.
