Seeing orange in Sudbury

As the final buzzer sounded in Sudbury on Friday night, a sea of students clad in orange and black stormed the field to celebrate the Wayland football team's thrilling 13-6 win over Dual County League rival and fellow unbeaten Lincoln-Sudbury, just the program's second win over L-S since 1988.

There was no shortage of drama in Week 5 of the high school season.

Here's a recap of our other four must-watch games of the weekend:

Marlborough at Milford: Senior QB Bryant Johnson directs host Scarlet Hawks 57 yards in final minute for winning TD as Milford remains lone unbeaten in CMass Division 1A, 20-15.

Brookline at Natick: Redmen roll to their 20th straight victory, 28-0, with James Clover (50-yard punt return) and Jaime Bellofatto (84-yard kickoff return) delivering on special teams.

Framingham at Wellesley: Connor Green (3 TDs), Wellesley execute Wing-T to perfection, piling up 300-plus yards in the ground in 38-7 victory, setting up Saturday showdown vs. Natick.

Medfield at Bellingham: Alex Unex scores the lone TD of the fourth quarter as Medfield remains one of three unbeatens in the Tri-Valley League with 22-18 win. Next up: unbeaten Norton.
