Natick: 21 and counting

Natick High literally ran to its 21st straight win on Saturday afternoon, piling up 369 yards on the ground to pull away from host Wellesley in their Bay State Herget showdown, 42-28. Here's a recap of our five games to watch from Week 6 of the high school football season:

Natick at Wellesley: Junior Thad McCummings burns Wellesley for 193 yards and three touchdowns on seven carries for 6-0 Redmen.

Norton at Medfield: Host Warriors (5-1) clamp down defensively to hand Tri-Valley League rival Norton its first loss of the season.

Wayland at Concord-Carlisle: Senior QB Ben Sherry (9 carries, 130 yards rushing, 2 TDs passing) pilots unbeaten Wayland to its sixth straight win.

Waltham at Peabody: David Melchiori rushes for a pair of touchdowns as Hawks (4-1) stop Greater Boston League foe Peabody, 25-9.

Franklin at Mansfield: Panthers no match for Mansfield juggernaut (34.6 points per game; 3.3 points allowed) in a 31-0 loss.
