Sculpture dedicated at Mount Ida

A 27-foot-high kinetic sculpture, made by artist Susumu Shingu, was dedicated yesterday on Mount Ida College's campus.

The sculpture, which is made of steel, represents the connections between everyone, the college said in a statement.

After the dedication, Shingu delivered a lecture that featured video tours of his studio, and footage of his 20-month journey into different, remote areas of the world.
