What really happened with Norman Swerling

Did Norman Swerling really do it? The judicial system has spoken, but people are still talking about it.

The Globe magazine received hundreds of letters on its July 9 story about Swerling, the Newton driver's education teacher who was acquitted of charges that he raped a student.

They've printed a selection of the letters today, with people weighing in from as near as Newton and as far away as Lyman, S.C.
