Camenker and Lexington

Newton's Brian Camenker and his Waltham-based MassResistance group have played a role in the red-hot controversy in Lexington over what that town's schools are teaching kids about homosexuality.

MassResistance issued a press release recently with claims that have whipped up passions in Lexington -- and far beyond, the Globe reports today.

The Lexington school superintendent is questioning whether MassResistance is using a local resident who is critical of what the schools are teaching.

Camenker says David Parker has "helped the cause," but he is no pawn.
