En route to a funeral, I realized I’d misread the directions. I stopped at a convenience store for help and rather than wait my turn in the line, I asked in my loudest 75-year-old voice: “Is anyone familiar with Farley Funeral Home?” The clerk and several customers all said they were and were trying to direct me when an older gentleman said, “Follow me.” I backed my car out and tagged along to a stoplight, where a young man got out of the car in front of me and said, “You were supposed to follow the other fellow, but I’ll get you there.” He did, though it took him totally away from where he was heading. My thanks to all the kind folks who offered help that day.

Speech Recognition We were descending to Orlando’s airport over a major highway at rush hour when confirmation that this was a flight from Boston came from behind us as a 7-year-old boy shouted: “Look at all the cahhhhs!”
