Re “A Greenway built for schmoozing’’ (op-ed column, Feb. 19). After decades of day trips with my daughters and now my grandsons, I have focused my trips on Springfield. Greenway planners should visit the Springfield Museums, and pay special attention to the Dr. Seuss Sculpture Garden. You don’t need Horton or the Grinch on the Greenway, but a bronze statute of Johnny Tremain and other young adult heroes would bring fun and education to the area.
