Although they no longer represented my views, there were still Republicans I considered voting for until the last 10 years.
The front-page article “Palin strikes out at Brown over issues’’ proves that the Republican leadership has drifted even further away. While Massachusetts Republicans spoke out in support of Brown, they failed to criticize Palin for her comments.
The national GOP has ceded control of the party to the likes of Palin and Glenn Beck. Republicans have no spine to face up to their fringe element. As a consequence, their party has been dragged further to the right and away from most of America.
