AS EVERY front-line human services provider knows all too well, it will take something far simpler - yet far more elusive - to "fix the child welfare system" than Marylou Sudders and Maureen Flatley's well-intentioned platitudes ( Op-ed, April 18 ) or "bold statements" from the newly appointed child advocate.
