Tune in to the Republican presidential debates, and it’s clear why a former Godfather’s Pizza chief executive has energized the race. For Herman Cain is a man for the times. He’s a businessman with no experience in elected office - which is a credential for Tea Partiers who view any association with governing as a taint. He has a knack for marketing - for presenting ideas in a catchy ways, staying on message, and pushing that message relentlessly.
