While still committed to closing the prison at Guantanamo, President Obama has been talking about creating a system of indefinite detention, without trial, for certain detainees. These are ones who are believed to be dangerous but are difficult to prosecute because evidence against them was gained through torture or contains classified information. But courts have shown they can handle both these hurdles. Obama should drop the detention plan. (Full article: 404 words)
