NORTH END -- Bob Eustace, left, will tell you he is living a modern day Cinderella story. Almost 20 years ago he went to work for Ralph Polcari at Polcari's Coffee in the North End. The owner of this 75-year-old shop told the then 17-year-old that if he stuck around he'd leave him the shop one day. “It's hard to believe something like that, but five years ago he was good to his promise,' says Eustace. Polcari's sells tea, spices, nuts, dried fruits, legumes, carob, dried lemon peel plus about 50 different flavored extracts for making liquor. But coffee is No. 1. The store's unusual flavors include banana-nut, Snickerdoodle, and coconut. Pumpkin pie spice coffee is the latest hit. The shop's exotic fare attracted North End resident Charles SteelFisher and his six-month old daughter Tennessee.
