Precinct Kitchen + Bar will bring a charcuterie station and New England cuisine to Loews in late March
Here are some more details on Precinct, the upcoming restaurant inside the newly revamped Back Bay Loews. The restaurant will have charcuterie station serving local, artisanal cheeses and cured meats from family-owned farms, plus a seafood-focused menu: feast on oysters, Wellfleet clam chowder, seared scallops, or a whole clam bake. The restaurant opens at the end of March, and it seems like it'll be a prime post-work hangout come summertime: A patio overlooking Berkeley Street with two fire pits opens at the end of April.
As for cocktails: I'm told that their mixologists have been trained by Eben Klemm, the force behind major cocktail festival “Tales of the Cocktail." Swill drinks like the Harvard (cognac, vermouth and bitters), the Nor’Easter (bourbon, maple and ginger), and Remember the Maine (rye, cherry, blueberry and absinthe).
