Somerville is now home to a locavore brunch hall

According to a press release, Somerville catering service Cuisine en Locale has opened the "world’s first-ever locavore function hall." Every Saturday from 10 until 3, they'll do a healthy brunch with locavorean delicacies, custom-crafted "produce forward" drinks, and live jazz. They'll also host pop-up dinner events. See the inaugural menu, ahead.


POP (pile of potatoes) Roasted potatoes with melted Bayley Hazen Blue Cheese and sautéed fresh spinach, topped with a farm egg, your way

Fratine baked layers of farm fresh eggs, cheese and seasonal vegetables, served with a fresh salad of kale with pepita and cranberry

Short Rib Ragu on house made toast with farm fresh eggs your way

Housemade Sticky Buns and other baked delights
House Bloody Mary Valicenti Organico tomato and Ken's Worcestershire The HeartBEET
Life Force Beet Poet juice with Bulleit Rye and Campari
