Last week came news that acclaimed New York chef Daniel Boulud would open a restaurant at the Mandarin Oriental hotel. Today, a representative for Boulud says that it will be a branch of the ever-swanky Bar Boulud, which has outposts in New York and London. The French bistro and wine bar, known for its excellent charcuterie and wine program, will open this fall. It's Boulud's first Boston restaurant.
