A rep for Todd Winer's Fort Point restaurant, Pastoral, tells me that doors open on February 20. All of the hot dishes on the menu will be finished off in a Neapolitan pizza oven, so there will be a healthy component of roasted vegetables, chicken for two, and (of course) pizza.

About that oven: Zagat notes that it's imported from Naples and "will weigh 6,000 pounds and is made from the stone and sand of famed Mt. Vesuvius." Zagat further notes that Pastoral will be only the second Massachusetts restaurant currently certified by the U.S. and Canadian branch of the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana, the international board governing authentic Neapolitan pizza-making. (Posto in Davis Square is the other one.)

Pastoral, 345 Congress St., Fort Point
