Alvaro Sandoval tells me that he’s just a couple of city inspections away from launching the North End branch of his hit Medford taqueria, Tenoch. Expect it to open by the middle of January at 3 Lewis St.


The Veracruz native will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week, with a focus on tortas—filling sandwiches stuffed with your choice of spicy meat, Oaxaca cheese, and veggies tucked inside warm, soft telera bread.
