Ward 8 replaces Nebo at 90 N. Washington St. on Monday. Expect frisky cocktails from Eastern Standard veteran Mike Wyatt, craft beers, comfort-food shareables, and a very on-trend raw bar. The restaurant is run by Nick Frattaroli, whose family owns North End standbys Lucia, Filippo, and Ducali.

A rep tells us that Wyatt will have some tropical fun with the drinks: Expect tiki glasses and coconut-shaped glasses, plus lots of rum cocktails. They'll also do a take on the classic whiskey-based Ward 8, created by the late, lamented Locke-Ober in 1898. The bar's open until 2 a.m.

Executive Chef Kenny Schweizer hails from the Four Seasons' Bristol Lounge. The current menu is divvied into sections, with a small raw bar, appetizers, shareable plates, sandwiches, and mains ... including a truffle-mayonnaise lobster roll.
