Boston Restaurant Talk picks up on an intriguing Chowhound scoop: The Abbey on Beacon St. in Brookline will open a Porter Square branch. The Abbey is known for its late-night menu, served 'til 1:30 a.m. previously called the comfy American spot a "neighborhood sanctuary," so our hopes are with Cambridge.
